We utilize a family systems approach to work with the whole family in helping meet your child’s needs. With this approach, we keep children engaged in their own treatment, support them in holding space for them to process their feelings.

Will my child be engaged using virtual sessions?


Yes, children tend to be more focused working with a therapist who knows how to keep their attention and keep them feeling engaged. Our skilled therapists utilized different modalities to help your child. With a person-centered approach your child’s needs are at the center of treatment. Using a collaborative approach, the therapist will conduct family sessions with parent and child to ensure you and your child are being supported.




What if my child doesn't want to open up?


We understand that the therapeutic process takes time, so we are dedicated to supporting your child through their own journey of healing. Our goal is to provide comfort for your child during therapy to create a flexible environment and a space for healing.




How confidential is therapy with my child?


Virtual therapy is given the same care as with office sessions. Everything shared in therapy is confidential including what your child chooses to share. Confidentiality will only be breached in case of harm or threat. We will respect your child’s privacy for a safe therapeutic experience.

GROUPS

We offer group therapy for teens and pre-teens. You can RSVP if you would like your child to be part of our next group therapy. We offer groups focused on helping your child build confidence, work through anxiety, education around depression and how it shows up in the body, self-care tools, communication tools, and providing a space where your child feels comfortable to work through challenging emotions.
